We’ve watched local businesses rise and fall. We’ve seen neighborhoods evolve, new developments reshape our communities, and people from all over the country make their way here in search of sunshine, a warmer climate, no state income tax, and the freedom that Florida represents.
But through all of that change, some things have remained beautifully the same.

And most importantly, the people who call Duval home.
Over the years, we’ve had the privilege of meeting people from every corner of our community and hearing their stories—people who were born and raised here, people who moved away and eventually came back, and people who chose Jacksonville as their new home.
Those stories inspired the creation of Duval 4 Life.
Because whether you’ve lived here your entire life, spent a few years here, moved away, or just arrived—we believe there’s something that connects us.

More Than a City
You’ve probably heard some say Jacksonville is the most boring city in America. Maybe it’s because our city doesn’t always advertise everything happening here in one place.
We don’t believe Jacksonville is boring.
We believe Jacksonville is overlooked.
There is an incredible amount happening across the 904 every single day. Live music. Local restaurants. Festivals. Markets. Community events. Sports. Art. Entertainment. Outdoor adventures. Hidden gems. And hundreds of miles of waterways and natural spaces waiting to be explored.
The challenge isn't that there’s nothing to do.
The challenge is finding it.
Search the internet and you’ll find plenty of information—but it can be scattered, outdated, incomplete, or buried beneath endless search results and social media posts.
That’s where we come in. Our goal is simple:
Create the Ultimate Local Event Calendar for Jacksonville and surrounding communities.
We’re building a trusted, easy-to-use, one-stop destination where locals and visitors can discover what’s happening throughout our community.
Our vision goes beyond simply listing events.
We want to help people discover the places, restaurants, organizations, experiences, and people that make Duval County special.
We want to make it easier to answer a simple question:
“What’s happening around here?”
And we’re building it with the community—not just for the community.

Our community extends far beyond what many people think of as “Jacksonville.” We have neighborhoods, surrounding communities, suburbs, beaches, riverside areas, and distinct pockets of culture spread throughout Duval County and the First Coast.
In many cities, surrounding communities become part of the identity and culture of the greater city.
We believe Jacksonville should be no different.
Because the things that make this place special don't stop at a neighborhood sign or a city boundary.
This is one community.
