Corrections Policy

We want the 904 Calendar, Outdoor Report and our original site and social content to be useful and accurate. Events can change after publication, outside data feeds can fail, and mistakes can happen. We welcome specific corrections from organizers, participants and visitors.

How to report a problem

Use our Contact page. Please include the page or post link, what appears to be wrong, the correct information, and a reliable source if available, such as an organizer's official announcement. For an Outdoor Report display issue, include the selected location, the reading or module in question, and when you saw it. Do not send sensitive personal information unless needed to explain the issue.

What we do

We review reports against the information available to us and may contact the organizer or source for clarification. When we confirm an error within our control, we may correct, clarify or remove the content. Routine event changes, such as a new time or venue, may simply be updated. For a significant error in our own editorial content, we may add a visible correction or update note where practical. On social media, where editing is limited, we may correct the caption, add a follow-up or remove a post.

If an error comes from a weather, tide, marine or other outside data provider, we may correct how our site labels or displays the data, but we cannot change the provider's underlying observations or forecasts. Corrections are made on their merits; payment or advertising is not required to request one. We cannot promise real-time review or that every requested change will be made.

For time-sensitive event changes, check directly with the organizer. For urgent weather or safety decisions, use official alerts and local authorities instead of waiting for a correction to our site.
